CSGO FPS
I typically get between 90-120 FPS in CSGO and was hoping to boost that number to around 200. Is something capping me at around that FPS or am I doing something wrong?
System specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 1090t
GPU: Nvidia GTX 570
8gb of RAM
I haven't overclocked any of these but I would look into it if you guys think that would help.
Thanks for the help!

I made this guide for people with older computers but if you want to boost your fps you could trying some of the suggestions out. I was able to go from around 35 fps to 165 fps with a core 2 duo and 8800 gt.Did I say that or was I just thinking it?

Maybe, but we had a huge debate about this awhile back and it was pretty well established that there is no gameplay difference between a 60 tick and a 100 tick. What's the TPG server tick set to?

Re: CSGO FPS
Absolutely not. Theres a huge difference between 66 tick and 100 tick (pre-OB Source engine) and GoldSRC engine. Same goes for CS:GO. 64 tick and 128 tick is a huge difference.
Ticks are essentially the amount of times the server updates. The more it updates the smoother the server will be as well as the client.
Even things like doors opening faster/slower are some minor differences besides the obvious differences like hit registration.
