    Serious issues with CPU Kernal.

As of two days ago, I am getting constant crashes with my kernal. I have no idea what exactly is causing it, because my virus scans came back clean.

I am getting constant BSoD on start up, and can only start my computer in safe mode. I'm trying to reinstall windows, but my computer isn't recognizing the disk is in, so I can't run the installer.

the only thing that's changed is that there was a new windows update on the 14th, the day before this started. Right now, I'd just take the reinstall, so can anyone tell me how to get my computer to work so I can reinstall windows?

go into bios and check to see if you have the optical drive set as the first boot device.
