my screen goes black after a short period of time during the windows 7 installation so i read that i needed to copy the latest drivers to a flash drive. it keeps saying its not compatible or its the wrong driver no matter which one i try...

Does your mobo have an integrated graphics card? If so, take out tgr 5770, and then install windows. Once it's set up, then do the video card.

Windows should be able to install a generic driver. Are you using an installation CD or a flash drive?
