Most of my games are on XP for many of the reasons described above. Plus, other than keeping XP patched and upto date, with dual boot, there is nothing else to bloat my operating system besides my games. I have it tweaked and fine tuned to play games and games only.

All of my work apps, etc are running flawlessly on Vista.

However, if you don't want to dual boot, then I would also agree you should go with XP Pro.

Do you just know how to setup a dual boot situation or did you read a guide somewhere? The concept has always interested me but I never took the steps to teach myself how to do it.
