No need for the pointing and laughing Smokenscion.

Skype is pretty straight forward. Does your friend have an account and a webcam? If so, you just install the client and it's all done. Then you just need people to call.

It's simple enough that it only took me an hour on the phone with my dad to get him setup. The man ain't scared of a command prompt and can even write some code, but sit him in front of modern GUIs and he goes full-on retarded.

So here is what you need
- Skype
- a Skype account
- webcam
- add friends to contact list on Skype via their name, email address, or Skype name

After that you simply click on someone in your list and then click Video Call. Easy peasy.
