04-18-13, 12:00 PM #1Computer Part Yard Sale
So I've decided to move on from gaming as a hobby to find something else more productive. Essentially, I'm selling off all my parts to fund both a new hobby and build a smaller computer (because I've always wanted to). Also, gaming and maintaining good grades in college while being in an honors program simply don't mix, so I've put quite a bit of thought into this decision.
Anyway, the parts:
AMD Radeon HD7870 GHz Edition for $190.
This card has seen 4 months of moderate use (half-load for 3 hours a day, zero load the other 18 hours). The card is in excellent physical condition with little dust on the fans and heatsink.
Core i5-2500k for $130.
This processor has been in use for about 2 years. 1.5 of those years have been at stock clock. Due to a thermal compound application mishap, there's some (as in, very little) stuck around the edges that I haven't quite been able to wipe off, but it doesn't affect the cooling in any way. Due to its use and age, I'm really discounting this one.
Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4 Intel Motherboard for $75.
Also been in use for 2 years, since the acquisition of the i5. To my knowledge, and I have checked every port that I have the ability to, everything works just fine. Should make a nice base for any Sandy Bridge (only) LGA 1155 builds.
Asus VS238H 23.5" Monitor for $75.
There is very little wrong with this monitor. LED backlit, 1920x1080, HDMI, DVI and VGA inputs. TN panel type. Aside from collecting dust on the glossy sides and the admittedly wobbly base, this monitor has served me perfectly for a year and a half.
Of course, I'm open to negotiation on any prices, and I will pay for shipping on all items. Also, the monitor, keyboard, and RAM are the only items that will not come with their proper case. The i5 will be in an i7-860 case for safety purposes.Last edited by Allane; 04-26-13 at 05:34 PM.

If you've already seen this thread, check the original post again, I've updated it. Links to everything, and an extra note about packaging.
