possible new build
would like some feedback
this is a partial build but its i guess the major parts
i think everything's compatible and i'd like to stay as much under 250 - 300 as possible pretty much a pure gaming rig i'll never learn how to do anything profitable with a computer anyways open to suggestions

Depends, usually you can get by with calling microsoft and verifying some things to them, I just told them I had a power surge the last time I had activation problems with 7 and had all new hardware (the guy on the phone didn't care since I wasn't using the other hardware/machine anymore)

I don't know if you have a microcenter near where you are, but if you do... their prices on CPUs are quite a bit better then you'll find on newegg... check out microcenter.com for comparison pricing.. that's only in store though, my i7 when I purchased it was abit over $100 less then neweggs pricing, they do it that way per their own admission because people that buy cpus usually tend to buy other things there and they assemble them for free when you buy all the components from them.... which as time goes on, becomes more and more attractive an option I admit ...

I personally would look to spend a little more on the motherboard. CPU is a good choice, from my understanding it's an economic build, and you are getting a lot for your money with that CPU.
Edit: I would verify with someone else to make sure everything is compatible.
