A new update just downloaded today and oi, what do I find?
Game streaming, available through Geforce Experience? I only have 2 560ti cards in SLI and it would seem you need a 6xx card to do it. Apparantly you can render everything on the desktop and stream to your shield device, much like the server-side rendering in-browser games like Warface. Looks pretty slick from a glance, anybody here plan on trying it out? Already have?
If you haven't seen the shield device, here 'tis

Haha it would seem you are better at reading the content I post than I am
Holy SCHNOZ! Here it is running Borderlands 2.
That's pretty awesome to see, even though the technology has been around for a while. The android OS is gonna open a lot of doors for developers. One of the other videos on their page shows them flying quadrocopters and streaming 1080p to the shield

The shield can only display 720, but the software can stream rendered 1080p. I'm sure we'll see some 1080p capable devices soon enough able to more fully utilize what the software allows. After the shield has been out for a while I'm sure they'll patch in support for PC to PC streaming.

I have been following this device since it was first announced. Looks pretty interesting. It is similar to the Wii U controller, where none of the graphic rendering is done on the device itself... it is just a battery, screen, and some controls.
This could be something fun to fart around with if the price is right.
