Might be time for a new Mobo/CPU

USB ports on my mobo have been acting....weird So, I might be in the market for a new board/cpu (budget roughly $800). I have a Corsair 800D case that can fit EATX and the board will need to accommodate a 690 and a HT Omega Claro Halo XT. Fancy smancy Bios interface is desirable. Bios code display on the mobo would be nice. I'm torn between either getting a Hexcore Intel or a Haswell Quad.

I may also need a new CPU cooler as I'm not sure if my Corsair H100 would accommodate 2011 or 1150 socket CPUs.

All the Corsair Hydro series coolers work with both Socket 2011 and Socket 1150.

H100 has worked well for me. It is very quiet compared to air cooled.

I do have an H100i though, and it has been nothing short of flawless. I have it set so that the fans only fire up when it gets more that 5c warmer than its idle temp, and then run faster and faster if the heat continues to rise. Makes things very quiet.

Those are what I'm considering should this board end up failing. Leaning towards the Gigabyte ones.
