You'd be better off trying to get the new GTX 760 they launched yesterday. It's replacing the 660ti and the MSRP is like $250. Most of the prices I've seen on the 660ti are closer to $300.

trigger has a valid point. Your power supply could be going out. Insufficient voltage/amperage could lead to instability too.
To test RAM you can run memtestx86.
