You'd be better off trying to get the new GTX 760 they launched yesterday. It's replacing the 660ti and the MSRP is like $250. Most of the prices I've seen on the 660ti are closer to $300.

Why in the world does the 660 ti have more cuda cores and faster clock speeds than the new 760? I get confused over this shit.

Well, the 760 has other improvements that bring out better performance. It pulls 44 fps at 1440p on Ultra settings in BF3 vs 39 fps with the 660 ti.

Anandtech's review shows the 760 beats the 660ti in almost every benchmark and is close, to the 670.

LOL all day my courser has changed from a pointer to a hand to a hand with rainbox colors to an I. Got to be video related. Off that both cards took the hit. Could be the MB I suppose.

How much ram are you running. Perhaps one of the modules is faulty or not seated properly.

Lastly, it could be the PSU.

trigger has a valid point. Your power supply could be going out. Insufficient voltage/amperage could lead to instability too.

To test RAM you can run memtestx86.

I have 16GB of memory on 8X2GB sticks.

I have somewhat ruled out the PSU as when I push the system the harder it does not crash any more or less often.

I will run the mem test. I have not ruled out the CPU.

Didn't forget you. Last reboot yielded 116 windows updates. Fresh install
