    Phone sending picture texts under different phone number?

    I can't really find anything on Google on this, but I have a friend that we send lots of funny photos to each other and for some reason lately my phone has taken to taking these messages and randomly sending them under a different random phone number (mostly a 214 number) and when they respond to that number I don't receive it. It's really weird.

    Does anyone know why this is happening? The best guess I'm able to come up with is that my phone is bugging out and sending the messages anonymously without me telling it to.

    The could be sending the Texts/pictures through an IP Phone #. Or through a website.

    Sorry, no wieners involved here. I did contact virgin mobile and they told me to go into the phones secret menu and reset the phone number on my phone...which I would do, but I have a rooted and flashed phone, so can't do that without completely flashing it again...
