Thread: Can't change cable modem wireless settings

My roommate and I are using a wireless modem (DG950a) we rent from suddenlink. I can change the LAN settings, but I can't change the wireless settings. Anyone have any ideas?

Ask suddenlink if they allow it. The actual cable portion of a cable modem is locked and not changeable by the end user. It gets sent down from the cable company. It's feasible they could lock other portions of the modem as well though I've never heard of any doing that.
