Basically, bridging an amplifier means taking two channels and wiring your speakers as they are a single channel. Essentially, you are doubling the power each speaker is receiving, except you are cutting your ohm load in the process. If you were to attempt to bridge those speakers, you would be running at 3 ohms, and it sounds like that amp is not designed to be bridged at anything less than 8 ohms, which would require 2 x 16 ohm speakers.
