I paid for TT on my old iPhone, then paid for it again on my GS3, then recently paid for the new TT on my GS3. I will gladly pay again if I need to when I upgrade, or when they do. I do agree they should tell you that if you upgrade you will be required to pay, but I don't mind paying for a product I find so useful.

Re: The new Tapatalk is some shady BS
Ohhh, I misread the OP.
That is pretty shitty, assuming there's tangible differences between Tapatalk 2 Pro and Tapatalk 4, free. Especially because correct, me if I am wrong, Tapatalk had created a seperate app for Tapatalk 4 so its not even like they can claim 'auto update' they had to go and manually update the tapatalk 2 app to the tapatalk 4 trial.... Lame

Re: The new Tapatalk is some shady BS
I came to the conclusion that managed services (cloud for the bait biters) was a more sure fire way to incur dependencies and recurring charges for reduced options early on. We moved a couple of services out to avoid needing the know how in house, but anything important stays in our datacenter. The ones that have moved out bill as reliably as anything I have ever seen.
Oh yeah, good points on Tapatalk. I had not realized the exact details on how I came to be charged for something I already paid for.Everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon

Guess I should be glad I am on iPhone and the latest is TT Pro 2.2.3. I'm sure one day they will crate a new version for us apple dorks but for now yay no upgrade bs.
