If your budget is $800 for basically everything but mouse, keyboard, monitor, you can... When you say you can't beat it for the money, I agree that there is some sort "sweet spot" for getting the best performance for your dollar, but the ultimate deciding factor is often the budget. If you only have $600 for the entire system, spending $300+ on a CPU/board doesn't leave much room in the budget for a GPU.

Alright after doing some research over the past couple of days me and a friend came up with a build for the comp but I wanted to post it on the forums first and see what you guys thought about it and see if you had any suggestions. The build ended up over budget by some but I think for the most part it was worth it.

It ends up being around $820 because some of the prices have changed. Let me know if you guys think this is a pretty good build or if I should make some changes to anything. Thanks for the help.

I'd personally go with Windows 8 at this point... Windows 8.1 + Classic Shell is almost exactly like Windows 7.

I don't endorse AMD cpus.

^ What that guy said. You would be miles ahead going with ivy bridge intel instead of the FX line of AMD. The price though is hard to argue even if it doesn't stack up well comparatively speaking.

Not to sound like a broken record from other threads but spend the extra $30 and go with a core i5 and MSI Mobo bundle from MicroCenter.
