I use two of these to run to both my powered rear speakers and to my front right speaker.

They are rated for 10A. 10feet / 15feet / 25feet available.

Or even that monoprice one posted earlier would work.

As long as the cable you use as extension has the correct gauge of wire and insulation for the current you are drawing. (possibly even the certifications if you care (UL certified / NEMA rating)).

I did a thin tunnel straight down the wall painted the same color as the wall. I ran all the cables through the wall except the power and wii motion sensor, those two went through the tunnel tubing. You couldn't even tell it was there.

Something like that, mine was half that size though as I only needed it for the 1 power cord and not all the speaker wires.

Or enf, if you're already making holes you mise as well just do it proper and just install a power socket behind the tv. Cutting holes in dry wall is surprisingly easy to fix (install a support bord behind the hole you make, 2 screws top and bottom, cut a piece of dry wall to size of hole, screw in, drywall tape, dry wall cement, let dry and sand, paint, takes maybe an hour including drying of the cement) plus in buying the materials to fix it, youll have them on hand to fix dry wall later down the line (all of the materials keep: drywall, support board, drywall cement mix, etc).

Thought you might have to get a certified electrition to do the actual wiring (especially depending on building codes for your area of residence), but youll be able to negotiiate on price if you are the one cutting and mending the holes.

Or a kiss version... Go get an extension cord (with ground), cut it before ONE of the ends, then fish that end thin cord through the wall and back out behind the tv and splice a connector to the end (so that just the cord is in the wall, no splices or connections in the wall). Personally for near permanent editions like this I like to avoid connecting extension cords (they like to arc and heat up if one of the prongs is bent) and just actually splice the two cords together, though in doing so you will definitely void any warrenties on your TV!

Hmm you could do a mix, and install a single outlet behind the tv and hook the extension cord up to power it behind the wall, plus you can get an outlet that has a breaker in it. Better than having a cord just coming out of ddry wall (will start to chip the area that it comes out of).

I do fair amount of electrical customization and home improvement projects but I am far from a qualified electrition or a contractor, so take my comments with a grain of salt.

How are you running the HDMI, or any other cables for the TV? An outlet may not be enough if you still have to run the AV cable. You will still need an open spot to run those lines.

Not sure if it's been discussed, I didn't read through the whole thing here. If securing to a brick wall, common sense tells you this won't work and your options become limited.

Yeah this was completed last weekend, I figured I would just let people give their suggestions. A lot of great options if anyone else stumbles upon this thread.

This was actually something I was doing at someone else's house (didnt take any pics), so when I have the time to open my wall back up in my own house, Im definitely referencing this thread for some tips.
