stirfry look in my 3 stuff thread if that rams good for you theres 2x 2gig sticks you can have and a CPU that may work

In addition, depending on the chipset/board, I don't believe that you have to run it with either 3 or 6 sticks. I think it's "supposed" to be able to run with any number of sticks. I'm guessing you're going to get the 3 sticks you need but if not, if you post your MOBO, we can see if you can run with 4 or 5 sticks if needed. Intel supposedly built in memory optimizations at some point for dual/triple channel memory even if you don't have 2 (dual) or 3 (triple) sticks.

Someone more knowledge may say that I'm wrong or it doesn't work well though.

LOL yeah i am good guys. I am running 6gb now instead of 3. Because of the fan on my processor i actually cant fit anymore then 3 sticks in there.

I think there are a few people upset i dont lag like crazy anymore... cough...eddie...cough hehe I knifed him 3 times one round

I know your problem is solved, but I just found 2 sticks of OCZ Reaper 1600 MHz in a closet. I don't know if it works, so I will try to open up one of my boxes today to test it out. If I can get a post and successful boot to Windows, I will toss them up as free to the first person who asks. It is a 4 GB kit (2x2GB).
