Re: smart phone shopping
+1 The One is one of the nicest pieces of electronics I have ever owned. It shits quality.
And I HATED my S2.......Sooooo happy to trade that pos in. They gave me $90 for it, but I had already decided that if they were going to offer anything less than $75, I was going to put some .357 rounds through it. I kinda wish I did.
MT......If at all possible, steer away from the S2. Mine was a total POS. The tilt didn't even work.......

I've not been impressed with the build quality of the last several Samsung Galaxy phones. They feel very plasticy and have entirely too much flex to them. I've been very happy with my Moto X. The build quality is top notch and has great performance despite the lower-end internals when compared to the HTC One and GS4. Sadly, you can't buy them direct from T-Mo... yet.

Re: smart phone shopping
Are you in a contract with T-Mob? Or are they just the best/cheapest in your area?
I paid $200 for my One (and of course they dropped the price to $150 ~2 months later) with Sprint. No way I would throw down 5 Bens on a phone.
And I always had good luck with Samsung produts too until about a year ago. The phone I had was a POS, and my Samsung moniter crapped-out on me.
