i dont know how to turn the computer on /off /reset and i cant find my audio devices and what not

Win+C opens the charms bar(or mouse to the top right and slide down). Settings then power to shutoff/reset/sleep

Audio devices are the same as Win7. Just right click the icon on the taskbar.

hmm i cant seem to get this to enable my case audio ports its listing my monitor as audio how do i change that?

The same way it was in Win7. When you plug in speakers they will get drivers and you can set them as default.

yeah hmm front panel connectors miught not be in right but acording to the video they should be dunno how to tell which is the right connector

When you right click on the speakers icon in the tray, click on Playback. What do you see? You may need to right-click within and set it to show disabled.
