Seems like if I use the EVO 212 cooler by coolermaster i should have no problem with ram clearance

The 212 Evo will be sufficient for cooling that i5 and keeping clear of RAM, but it won't be as quiet as the Dark Knight. It'll be cheaper though, so the acoustics vs price thing will be up to you.

    Re: New build

I'm going to try and find more detailed dimensions, but i'll probably use the 212 as the cooling difference won't be that important without overclocking. It wont' be noisy either way, so it's no big deal.

Thank you amazon for the sending me the old version of the Dark Knight that is not compatible with my CPU. It fits, by the way
