Any Zotac users? Looking at buying a new gpu...
...and they have a sweet deal on a Zotac gtx 760 amp edition on new egg. Is this a good brand?

I was going to buy the evga gtx 760 sc acx, until I saw the zotac which is slighly faster and cheaper to boot.

If you're looking for a cool running 760, might I recommend the MSI 4GB OC 760? I bought one recently. It runs significantly cooler (up to 15C cooler than the reference cards), a great deal quieter, and maintains the same performance.
Most 760s are similar but the MSI version has a bit more effort placed into a non stock cooling system. And hey, who doesn't love 2 more GB of VRAM? It it a little bit pricier though. $300 for the 4GB card instead of $200 for the 2GB

Most of the mainstream OEMs have custom cooled versions of all their cards that run cooler and quieter than the stock/reference cooling from either nVidia or AMD. I've got an ASUS Direct Cu II GTX680 and it is whisper quiet and runs very cool.

The only video card manufacturer I have ever had a problem with was Zotac. Had two cards fail in two different customer builds. So I no longer buy Zotac for I stoner builds. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info guys, I will steer clear of zotac. I liked what I read about the asus, but it is too long for my case. It will only fit around 10 inches max ( that is what she said?) and that is if the power connectors are on the side.
Did I say that or was I just thinking it?
