Bar some DOA parts, you'll be happy with the switch. I will warn you that the stock heatsinks fucking blow. You might want to grab a decent 3rd party heatsink just so that you don't have to deal with those stupid shitty plastic pins.

I've got the Z77 Pro4-M by ASRock. Similar design... been rock solid for me.

I know this is a bit late, but Microcenter still has the Haswell i7 4770K for $250.

Last night was my first gaming run on an intel powered machine it did quite well, at first I was really let down by decision on this purchase cause it was slower than a slow loris in cold molasses until I found the no k feature in the bios once enabled it came alive. It's still no as fast at other things vs my old amd but overall I'm pleased. The one thing I've learned is intel is much harder to config than amd which is pretty much plug n play or it may just be my intel noobness.
