FRAPS is what I use. There is an ingame command line option to display fps but i forget what it is.

and your probably best waiting, the 7950 is still a great card. no real reason to upgrade off that at this time.

Oh yeah I forgot, I can see it with FRAPS.

Sounds good. But it insn't because my card doesn't server me well, it's just that the feeling that you can get a card that doubles or even triples the performance. But anyway I'll wait and see what comes up.

Re: 7950GT SLI Vs. single 8800GTS

You would need the 8800gtx to triple the 7950... thats a sweet card.
Ya the 8800 gts 640 would get near a doubling in some games, but you current card should be good until new games start to get released in a couple months, but by then you'll have options on the 8850 refresh

It also has a lot to do with the resolution you play in

If you're running a higher resolution, get the 8800 with 640 on it. Running another card in sli means you will need a bigger ps. I'd say just save the money now, and get an 8800gtx later, the price on them will drop by the time you need one.

To see fps in BF2 i think it was \renderer drawfps 1 or something like that

Re: 7950GT SLI Vs. single 8800GTS

the console commands are pretty much the same between the 2 games so if that works in bf2 that would be the command in 2142
