Two fully unlocked GK110 with 6GB of GDDR5 for each chip.
And, correct me if I am wrong, Triple slot high cooling.....
Its definitely the card to get if you need to do CUDA and can't spring for the Quadro cards.
I guess it could also play games.... but if thats what you want it for I would suggest getting 2x GTX Titan Black's and pocketing the extra 1k$ for the next gen of cards.hannibal liked this post-- Intentionally Left Blank --

It is my considered belief that nVidia is on a quest to break HeavyG's bank and put him in the poor house.\
He'll buy two of the best cards on the market.... every time... :PRumble

Ha ha!
Sadly, I have already decided to keep my Titans for another year until I am ready for an entire re-build, at which point one may get salvaged/recycled (Steambox anyone?), and the other put on ebay. I am waiting for the 2015 release before making any further plunges.
The Titans have held up remarkably well, and considering the price point, they darn well fucking should.

You're still spending too much. I am running BF4 at 1440p at mostly ultra settings on my GTX680 without any issues. I was prepared to get another one if needed but it's plenty fast enough for everything I've thrown at it.
Maybe the end of the year I might look at a 780, but so far I just don't see the need. Of course I have a 3930K bolstering things on the cpu side too. I'm sure that helps in the BF4 side of things.

The main reason for more horsepower for games would be singleplayer campaigns given the reduced graphics necessary for MP. I am going to wait until the next release as well. My 690 is still doing fine. I'm hoping they'll do a less commercial oriented dual card with that release. Daddy's gotta have his sound card.
Ugghhh...I just realized I'll need to get a new mobo/cpu for that. RAM should be fine. My 2600k is still doing quite nice, but the upgrade will be so I can use PCIe 3.0.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

Re: Holy hell, Batman: Titan Z
I'm a firm believer that game developers deliberately have ridiculous settings that are badly encoded except for newer cards. I'm so certain Nvidia and ATI provide kickbacks to the development team to ensure pc gamers NEED a new card... Bc2 needed an 5870 to run amazingly, bf3 needed a 660ti+ to run that amazingly and now bf4 you need minimum the 600 series, 700 series to run amazingly.
My poor 590 is choking at the newer games now despite it rivaling the newer cards in grunt power.Last edited by maximusboomus; 03-30-14 at 08:45 AM.

This is possible, but both sides really need to work together. The game and engine developers need for the hardware manufacturers to continue releasing next level hardware so they can continue to work in the next level tools and effects into their game engines. The hardware manufacturers need the game and engine developers to keep pushing the limits so that they have a reason to continue focusing on performance, rather than efficiency.
If the game devs would have stopped at DX9, then there simply wouldn't be a need for hardware developers to continue pushing for performance enhancements. Instead, they would likely look at power efficiency as well as fine tuning manufacturing costs.
I think they need to work hand in hand together.
