Due to poor driver support, and well not being able to afford even a used radeon hd 6970 due to the coin miners jacking up prices something ridiculous I'm in mind to trade it for or sell it and buy some low to mind range nvidias such as a pair of 560 TIs for example.. from what I've read in SLI they edge out the single 6970 handily and I could probably buy 2 of them for what I'd get from my 6970, anyone use 2 or more in sli, or a similar nvidia card have comments?

Re: Video Card Question
last time I ran SLI I had a couple 460s. There was a few issues with SLI at the time that may or may not have been taken care of. Usually it was little shit like a game wouldn't like it a whole lot if it was SLI'd and it would fall on its face fps-wise. They were rare occasions though. But I haven't felt the need to SLI in quite some time. I have a 680 right now and it's plenty fast enough to play most anything I want at the highest settings. I might upgrade to a 780 in a few months but a high end nvidia card (single) is good enough for anything you want to throw at it.

I have two 560ti 1GB cards I used in SLI. I used them for just under two years until last December when I replaced them with 2 760s. They were fantastic cards and did fine with most every game. They are a bit aged, so don't expect BF4 to run at higher than medium-ish settings, but I played bf3 and csgo on high settings and everything that came out before then on max settings. I was able to max out crysis2 with those two cards so they still pack some punch even today.
They are just sitting around here not being used, I'll give a fellow TPGer a killer deal on them if you are interested. Shoot me a pm if you are, they are NVidia reference cards so they were actually manufactured by NVidia and not one of their partners like MSI or EVGA.
