    Z87 or Z97?

I'm finally buying what I need for the 4770K I have laying around. Anyone have a motherboard recommendation for a ITX FF motherboard?

I am literally in the middle of the same predicament. Z97 doesn't offer any noticeably new or remarkably better features than z87. MSI, ASUS, and Gigabyte all had really good boards this generation. I'm not super familiar with ITX boards though so I can't speak to the best ones of this form factor

The only thing that I would say I would want from the Z97 would be the SATA express just to future proof my rig but I don't think it is getting a new motherboard material for me or paying more.

Yeah, the next Big thing to wait for is the x99 chipset with support for ddr4 RAM later this year. No other big or impressive motherboard technologies on the market at the moment.
