CCC issues / need tech help
I can't get my ati catalyst control center to load up. It's stopping me from playing some of my games. Short of a reformat I'm looking for a solution.
So far I've,
Uninstalled in program manager everything ati, reinstalled the latest as well as older driver sets. Done this numerous times.
Each time on the installation I get notices of errors. Then when I boot my machine CCC crashes on loadup citing the error CLR20R3.
Thoughts?
Would you guys recommend a good driver sweeper program that is free? I could give that a run. Other than this I'm lost for ideas. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks guys.Last edited by Ace22; 08-13-14 at 01:17 PM.

DriverSweeper is still free, isn't it?
Anywho:
-windows button
-type "event viewer"
-hit enter
-in the left pane, go to Windows Logs, then Application
-look for the entry related to CCC, it'll probably have a yellow or a red symbol next to it in the list
-See what it tells you and post up the info. Make sure to leave out any personal info.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

Re: CCC issues / need tech help
You might try wiping the drivers completely and taking the GPU out entirely and use onboard for one boot then replace it back in and load it back up and load up fresh drivers. If the computer thinks the GPU isn't there it might not make the same mistake. I know it sounds stupid but it worked for me when I was troubleshooting my old cards at quakecon.
