Does anyone know of an app, or webpage that will let you type in a video card and then select options to automatically compare ie: check the box #1 for example to show currently available that are more powerful then the one you listed? I've gotten to be lazy and don't want to scroll up and down through toms hardware style lists anymore

Anandtech has a pick-and-choose benchmark comparator, but you have to actually know what you're looking for in order for it to be effective.
With the naming schemes these days, it's impossible to come up with an easy way to remember which cards are supposed to be better than the others other than through pure memorization."In matters of style, swim with the currents... in matters of principle, stand like a rock."

Graphics Card Performance Hierarchy Chart - Best Graphics Cards For The Money: August 2014
I don’t recommend upgrading your graphics card unless the replacement card is at least three tiers higher.Last edited by deputyfestus; 08-25-14 at 06:22 AM.
