    September 30 is the reveal date for 9. That means the private builds (MSDN) should drop then. So 9 probably won't be out publicly until spring.

    I just went and did it...

    First removed all the drivers from the old motherboard,booted in safe mode with network capability.
    Removed my old CPU and Mobo,put in the new stuff (4790K and Asus maximus VI Extreme with 32Gb Ram and on top of that i bought a new 780GTX Ti) So far so good ,i did crash once but from then i updated every new driver and the Bios and everything is smooth.

    So it can be done,everything is the same and i did not had to reinstal a single program

    Nothing that i can see,everything is twice as fast and no bluescreens or crashes whatsoever.
    Still having the stock cooler with the CPU(46~50 degrees) but tomorow my new H100i should arive so that thing is going to the bin.
