    Here are my before (2 x GTX Titan) and after (2 x GTX 980) results:

    Before
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3930K Processor,ASRock X79 Extreme4

    After
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3930K Processor,ASRock X79 Extreme4

    I don't know if the test changed but I got a 32% increase on this test by upgrading to the GTX 980s. Seeing how I didn't have to pay a penny out of pocket for them to change them out, I think it was worth it.

    Yours were probably due at least in part to increases in efficiency of SLI.

    I got my upgrade locked in for free from EVGA but they have a backlog for step up upgrades. Hope it doesn't take too long
