    Dead PC...(pop)

    So I was watching a video then left for dinner. Came back and watched about 3 mins of the video before I heard a pop come from my case. I assume the PSU dies but before I go shoppin I wanted to get opinions.

    Am I correct or is it something else I needa look into?

    also buy a 10$ psu tester before a couple hundred on a psu

    No smoke smell, just a pop(kinda blown fuse sound) and my pc just went out. The house is old so I thought maybe the outlet just gave, but my surge protector is still lighting up.

    Yea I should get a tester just in case, I've been down the "fuck that's 200$ down the drain cause it wasn't that " road.
