Help needed....again!
Hi guys!
It is me again
Last week my PSU died(well it wasn't dead only the temperature sensor was faulty causing the fan to spin at max speed all the time). I received my new PSU from Cooler Master today,a fully modular 850W Gold.
Assembled the new PSU and used the old cables that were still inside so i did not have to replace every power suply cable.
Everything set up and booted the PC!
Only to be greeted with a completly black screen showing nothing on it,fans all spining,GPU leds on green,Fans from the Corsair H100i all spining ...but nothing ,not even a BIOS boot!
On my motherboard(ASUS MAximus VI Extreme is a debug display and it is showing 00(Zero).
Nothing works.So far i have:
-removed the gpu
-reseeted the CPU
-aplied new cooling paste
-removed all RAM sticks and put them inside
-testing with each one of them
-reseted CMOS
-removed the battery, put a new one
-and even tried another PSU.
Nothing works!
I can't hear a single beep,nor another weird sound...simply nothing!
Screen stays black,i even tried the HDMI port on the motherboard after i removed the gpu's.
I know for sure that is either the motherboard or the CPU, i just don't know which one.
Anyone with a same expirience? Or a good advice? It will be appreciated!

Re: Help needed....again!
you mention not replacing psu cables.... is it the same make/model psu? If not, replace them.
Also, make sure you have the 24 pin plugged in AND there's probably another 4 pin or 6 pin for the motherboard that needs plugged in as well.

Hang on, POST code 00 is the standby code for when the motherboard refuses to POST.
ASUS Maximus IV Extreme Error Code 00 : gamingpc
Remove absolutely everything from the motherboard except for the 24-pin, the 4x2-pin, and the CPU + Cooler (might as well leave in the CMOS battery), and see if the POST code changes.

Does it work when you put the old PSU back in?
I think you should eliminate the PSU being dead on arrival first. Try the old PSU first, then try the new one. Then try the new one with the NEW cables and see if it works (just in case).

And like i said i tried the new PSU with the NEW cables ,also tried it with nothing on it. Only PSU,Motherboard,CPU and Cooler...not even a single GPU inside.
Tried to connect thru HDMI also, put two sets of RAM,removed them and put other set of 16 gb still fuckin nothing.
