Everything stock, no after market coolers or overclocking. Good on Hard Drives, though may toss in a larger SSD. Mainly looking for motherboard and CPU upgrades. Any suggestions on a new case would also be great. Looking for something a little bigger or better with cable management. Figure the GPU and Memory should be good to reuse. I could reuse the PS but was thinking of going with a modular one to reduce the amount of unused cables. Suggestions?“Honor has not to be won; it must only not be lost.” - Schopenhauer

I would look at socket 2011v3. But you'll need to upgrade memory as well to DDR4

I'm partial to NZXT, they make great cases. I've got an h440 and it's got plenty of room for cable management, some nice aesthetic features, has a window, and has a very solid build quality. Corsair and cooler master also have a number of different stellar cases with good room. 800D might be overkill but damn if it isn't a great case.
I never had much interest in them before, but seeing the in-win D-frame cases at QC this year made me a big fan.
Depending on how much you're willing to spend, go 4790k if you're not ready to jump to skylake/x99/ddr4. 4790k is a beast with tons of room for overclocking. No real need to jump to ddr4 at the moment but the price is coming down quicker than I would have expected and the platform is solid, skylake is a worthwhile investment if you're willing to shell out for it.
GPUs, I've got 2x980s and neither of them even break a sweat - just one would be more than enough, but two will keep me going for a long time. I've also got a 970 in my other rig, a very solid gpu that will also likely keep up for a long while.
SSDs are in a good place now as far as price is concerned. Crucial, Samsung, Intel, mushkin, silicon power, Kingston, ocz, etc are all in a place where they are getting similar performance, go with one that has a free 5-year manufacturer's warranty like evo 850, anything Intel, or anything silicon power.
