Building a new rig
Ok i think the new star wars battle front is going to be a good one imo anyway. I mean seriously how do you go wrong with battle field mixed with star wars? So im building a new rig because my current just barely hits the mark. As of right now im thinking im going to go with the recommended I7 6700 processor sitting on an MSI x99a board with a xfx radeon r9 290x 8gb. Any thoughts? I have to go to work for a bit so any help will be appreciated.

Re: Building a new rig
if your only reason for choosing the R9 is brand loyalty then ok... otherwise I would go with an nvidia 970 or 980. The 970 is a touch cheaper and about 15-20% faster. The 980 is a bit more but faster yet.
You'll need DDR4 memory for the x99 board. And a different CPU as the 6700k is an 1151 socket chip and the x99 board is socket 2011-v3.
In other words... you'll need a little help putting a parts list together.

1. I'd go Nvidia over ati. I had ati gpu's exclusively for years, but after having the two 770's I have now, and how easy they are to maintain, I won't be going back to ati anytime soon.
2. I can answer your first question if you really want me to. Look into hosted servers for it, and you'll see what I mean. Don't ever challenge EA to ruin something, it's what they excel at.
Either way, it will be nice to kill you again.

I'm not sure on the two TVs. One 4k monitor is hard enough to get good framerates on. Two is... There's also the delay that is generally larger on TVs.
For cards, go with whatever's rated best in your price range at the time you buy.
I have greatly preferred my Nvidia card over my AMD ones (Nvidia 690 vs two 6970s; 690 is more powerful, cooler, quieter---doesn't sound like a 747 taking off), but I haven't had much experience with the newer AMD offerings. The Nvidia Control Panel and the Geforce Experience are also easy to use. You just got to use the clean install option for drivers. No safe mode required.
Also, Windows 10. Not just for the latest DirectX. It simply works better for playing older games.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

Modern AMD cards are solid. Running an r9 390 and it punches above my brother's 970 regularly for the same price. Mine uses slightly more power, but my psu can handle it.

It should also be mentioned that if the display has the name TV or Television attached to it, you will have to deal with a pretty huge input lag.
LIke I deal with 60ms on my Samsung P60F8500 Plasma, which is in the special unlisted PC mode. It also disables most of the color/picture settings.
Stick to things called monitors for 5ms or lower response times.-- Intentionally Left Blank --

Not endorsing it, or disparaging it; just something I saw today:

The newer AMD cards are okay. I just have little faith in their products at this time. If you think their driver support is lacking now, then just wait for them to start doing lay-offs due to not meeting financial goals. They have been losing market share quarter over quarter for quite some time to Nvidia.
The R9 290X is a fast card, the 390X is fast, and the FuryX is pretty amazing, but there is just simply too much to worry about with AMD for me to even consider one of their products. I really used to love AMD/ATI, and I used their cards exclusively dating back to my first Radeon 32MB to my last ATI cards being the 4850 in Crossfire. I switched to Nvidia just to try them out, and never really looked back. I am a happy customer.
That being said, for running games at 4K, you will want the higher VRAM cards, but even then, don't expect to be able to run 60 FPS.
