Thread: Save steam chat history

Googling has left me scratching my head.

is anyone able to have their steam client save their chat history. i hate getting shared a link, then wanting to go back to it later after I've closed it off - poof it's gone.

Anyone have any solutions, or is it still not possible as my googling search has left me thinking.

It's still not possible. It's like the second most requested feature (more chat control like deleting or saving chat history) right behind changing your steam account login name.

It saves a bit, though not all. It will be a while if we get it....if at all. It took forever to offline messaging....and that's a basic for IM clients
