    Joystick Recommendation

Need a recommendation for a joystick. There are a ton of options and I'm not really sure which one to get. I bought this Elite whatever game and I'd like to try it with that as well as I want to start fucking around with jets a bit in BF4 just for fun. Under $30 would be good as I doubt I'll be using this thing that often.

    Re: Joystick Recommendation

I've used the Logitech Extreme 3d Pro since BF2. It's not terribly durable (one lasts, oh, maybe 3 odd years) but its intuitive, simple, and cheap.

That being said, BF4 (and BF3, for that matter) is a different beast than BF2. Last time I checked, most top-tier pilots were fairly universal in the opinion that mouse and keyboard was superior to a joystick in BF4. I still use a joystick, but that's simply because it's what I'm used to. If I were learning to fly in BF4 from scratch, I would likely give m&k and lengthy trial run before considering a joystick.

This is my favorite one for around that much money:

    Thrustmaster T-16000M

Amazon.com: Thrustmaster T-16000M Flight Stick: Electronics

I use it with my left hand (its ambidextrous after some part swaps which are included)
