Thread: weirdness

dunno if this is gonna keep happening but my compjter stops responding ill have a web page open and fine but then i try to open a new one nothing happens try to cntrl alt del to bring up task manger nothing happens try to rest nothing happens only a hard reset works

I've had this problem for about a week. I don't know if Microsoft rolled out an update or what but it drives me bonkers. Only thing hat has been preventing it is I reboot every morning. I still leave my computer on 24/7 but the reboot has prevented any of those lockups for several days now.

I haven't had this problem. Maybe it's a piece of software you both use?

Yeah like I said, since I restarted regularly it's been gone for me too

I also noticed my CAM software for my NZXT Kraken X61 doesn't crash ever if I restart on a regular basis. So yay restarts.

what av do you use ? i wondered if avast was fucking up

I use Avast and no problems.
