    get the one with options you dont think you will need.

    I saved $12 and got the motherboard without the bells and whistles about a month ago.

    About 20 minutes ago I got back from CompUSA with a PCI Firewire card for $25.

    you should upgrade to AM2 or S (1207 pins) socket to be ready for the next generation of cpus
    you can also go with intel don't know why but you would. (Rember even though you got that big processor you have no bandwidth and no IMC and more heat)
