I was looking everywhere to try and avoid reinstalling. That was my next step if this didn't work. I read more on it and they say it may happen again a little while after you do this. Something about everytime you play this file grows and when it gets too large you start having freezes. They said if you go rename it again things will go back to normal and it shouldn't effect performance.

Yeah, I noticed you on the server earlier Turtle. I willingly moved myself to the other team because our original group was pretty much all regulars tearing up the visitors. I swear one round on Minsk, the titan was down in less than 3 minutes.

I will re-read your thread tomorrow while I'm at work. But now I'm curious, I wonder if its as simple as a house cleaning function. Write a simple VBScript that would rename the original file and schedule it to run once a week or something.

I mean, is it that the file is too large and the game can't process it anymore? And once the game is functional again, i wonder if you can delete the original instead of just renaming it. Rather, is there a reason to keep the original file once the game is functional again?

shitfuckdamn!...i KNEW i should've checked the forum. That's why i haven't been on in a couple of days. i was going to reinstall tonight, i ran disk checks all yesterday which is a PAIN IN THE ASS on RAID.
