Oh and just to clerify... My current mobo is an Asus M2A-MVP... Its chipset is Ati... would it effect the performance on an 8800gts?

And damn...i think i may end up buying from Newegg... after all lol....

really the ati is a nice set up for muti media computers and ati/AMD have better dule grafx set up but the hard ware itself lacks power the main advantage to ati is its speed is unstoppable with gddr4 but it has less processing power right now id stick with a 8800gts or a 8800gtx stay away from the ultra you can reach the same thing by turning up the gtx the ultra is a pre over clocked gtx

I sometimes get 60 chokes when i use the "net_graph 3" function in the console.
the FPS maxes out and twitches between 59 and 60
When im spawning or just running the ping is at 80-100
but when im shooting or there's a horde coming at me the ping jumps to like 400 and then jumps back down.

currently dual booting with vista/windows 7

playing left 4 dead on w7 but i doubt its the problem.

help please!!!!
