Personally, I think it is a waste of time. Doesnt prove anything. Having a better PC doesnt make you a better gamer. Besides, we already have a topic for you to post what you play on.

    Re: Computer wars

Its cool. We already do have a topic where you can post your 3dmark06 scores.

If we really wanted to create a computer wars thing, we should use more benchmarks than 3dmark06. We should use several, and each benchark will have a weighted percentage towards an overall score.

Maybe it isnt such a bad idea. We would just need to find free benchmarking applications that have scores that post to the web, such as 3dmark.

    Re: Computer wars

    big whoop,
your computer is faster than mine. Congrats on your large e-penis, I hope it gets you laid sometime.
Basically that translates as "I have a bigger computer budget than you do"
or perhaps as "I was the last guy here to do major upgrades"

    Who cares?
My PC is about a year and a half old, will still play all my games at max details at max resolution for my monitor. When that ceases to be the case, I will upgrade to make it so again. If you feel you need more horsepower than it takes to do that, you are the PC equivalent of a stats-whore, a benchmark whore.
    Sleep, eat, conquer, meditate, repeat.
