There ya go, try to find something used or greatly discounted.

A new monitor will run you 125-150 in most cases. Stuff like the 17/19inch monitors the bignames give away for free with the prebuilt systems will run you over 100 bucks easily.

Hello, I looked through the "Frequently Encountered Errors" thread but I couldn't find the problem solution that I was looking for. The problem that I'm having is when I try to search for a game, the little window that's suppose to say "searching", was saying "Stopping search" and it goes back to the main menu. Another thing that I noticed was that I don't see the list of servers on the bottom part of the screen of the main menu. If anyone knows what's causing this problem, please let me know. Thanks.

So my problem is: When i try to enter any kinda game type online a box pops up saying "stopping search" and returns me to the starting screen, also all of my achievements are gone (agiain ><) i dont know how i got them back last time but the are gone again... any ideas how do i fix this?

I'm having the exact same issue. I just boot up normally, start up the game then whenever I search, it automatically goes from searching to stopping search.

Has it ever worked for either of you?

Try stopping Steam, and then deleting a file called ClientRegistry.Blob that is in your Steam directory. When you restart Steam, it will recreate the file.

Never mind, problem apparently fixed itself with out me doing anything. :cc: I think what the problem was server maintenance or something. Does anyone know where I can find out when they plan to do future server maintenances?

I don't think they let anyone know, they just do it.
