8800 GT !!!
Wow. The 8800 GT is expected to be released on the 29th with two versions, the 256 MB at $179-$199 and the 512 MB at $249. These cards have beaten BOTH of the 8800 GTS's at vertually all benchmarks. It is shown that ONE 8800 GT 512 is likely to get 12403 at 3dmark06. At a price less than that of the 8800GTS and performance that of greater than the 8800 GTS, the question is, when will you be getting yours?

I wonder if it is using 512 bit memory, rather than that 384 bit bullshit, or whatever nVidia has been using.

Re: 8800 GT !!!
It should be on the 256 bit bus.
But ya they look very interesting.
AMD is aobut to release their new cards, calling them the '3x00' what would have in the past been the 2950 will be the 3800 or something like that.
HOpefully we will see lots of power for little monies.

Re: 8800 GT !!!
If I remember right they are going to up the performance of the 640 GTS by increasing the number of stream processors from 96 to 112 or something
They want to help seperate the performance between the three cards so I would expect the 640 to take back the performance lead over the 320 and the GT
