    Buy.com has 2GB (2x1GB) Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 PC2-6400 4-4-4-12 dual channel memory kit for $90 - $40 rebate = $50 with free shipping.

If you are a new user for google checkout, then you get an additional $10 off, making the final price $39.99. I have this ram in my comp and it works perfectly.

I have the same memory and it works great, excellent value at that price.

Hmm, I have 2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 PC2-6400 5-5-5-12 in my PC which I built a year ago. Would it be worth it to add this for a 4GB total? Would it be compatible?

I run XP so I know it would probably only recognize 3GB, but I'll probably be on Vista eventually anyway. Would I notice a difference with anything? TF2 load times are so freaking long, although I am usually the first person to load new map, so I guess I shouldn't be complaining.

$50 does seem like a good deal, just dug up my Newegg receipt and I paid $278 for my 2GB last September. :'(

I'm not sure about compatibility, but I do know I was running with 1 gig on my old rig (win xp) and was usually dead last to make it into CSS, Dod, Bf2, etc..But now with this 2 gigs, I am first nearly everytime. If you are thinking about upgrading to vista I would definitely recommend getting the extra 2 gigs....assuming they can work together....McStrange should be in shortly to let us know.....and now.....we wait.
