Well, if you maybe set the oil to filtered and circulated out with possibly something involving a laser and diffraction to test for purity so you know when to replace the oil, this could work slightly longer...or you could buy liquid cooling or some nice fans.

i was thinking more along the lines of a completely enclosed system. everything would be air/water tight.
it may not be practical in a $ sense but it's an interesting twist and a nice little project to play around with. not to mention i can see practical benefits for a media center (completely quiet. you see i have these dumbo lookin ears goin on and extra noise really ticks me off.)
