Mean Mouse

Now is it just me, or does this seem like an extremely mean and cheap idea for FPS'

I can click a bunch pretty quick, but depending on how adjustable the rate of fire is. Like length of pause between each fire for example. This thing would be a headshot monster of a gun.

Looks like a G5.

If they had it in a MX518 Shell, i would get it

Most mice actually allow you to assign macros to buttons; I could do that with my G9 if I wanted to. Actually, that's a pretty damn good idea.

If binding your mouse-wheel to fire and spamming dualies is frowned upon - how much worse is a mouse that auto-clicks for you?

whoa whoa whoa....so let me get this right... u click it once and it sends a signal to your computer saying that u clicked like 3 tims?... so its kida like a burst fire ?

I'm sure this has been asked before but I used the search function and didn't turn up anything - how do I get special characters in my name? Those that don't appear on a standard QWERTY keyboard.

One of the easiest ways is to look through the Character Map in Windows. On XP, it's under Programs > Accessories > System Tools in the Start menu, or you could just do Start > Run and type charmap. You should probably stick to browsing a common font like Arial or Verdana.

Bear in mind that not all of the characters you see in there will show up in-game, and could show up as squares instead. Hope this helps.

If you have Microsoft Word, you can also open a new document and go to Insert > Symbol... and you should see a table of all available special text symbols.
