What exatly do you mean by "not uninstalling" your games from your computer?
Are they still there in the control panel?
Can you still launch said game after you tried to uninstall it?
Any other info you might be able to provide or some SS maybe of what you're referring to exactly would help to understand the problem better.

Re: Uninstalling Steam Games
I'm going into my add remove programs list, trying to remove games on my computer that I don't play anymore. Whever I click on the remove button, it pops up a list of my steam games. They are listed in steam as uninstalled, yet they are still taking up space on my hard drive.

I have an idea go to "My Computer" after that go to your hard-drive find the game files then remove them ....
Or you could try uninstalling them from steam by going to "My Games" right clicking the game u want taken off then click delete game.

Are they still in your programs list then as well?
If they are gone from your programs list, then they are most likely not installed anymore. The reason there are still files on your hard drive taking up space is because some files are not removed when you uninstall certain games or how you uninstall them. I'm not sure which way Steam's uninstall application works as I've never uninstalled anything from them, but that might also be your problem.
If the games are not in your programs list, you should be able to just delete the remaining files off your hard drive without worry as Windows should not recognize the game anymore. If the games are still on your list, then it might be a different problem.
