Thread: Mic troubles..

Ok so I have these Logitech - ClearChat Pro USB Headset
but evertime I start a game I have to ctrl+alt and delete to go to my volume control and unmute it. After I am in game it is fine through all the maps.

Is there a way to fix it?

its not unusual for the mic to be muted in the bf engine - it will still work and if I remember right needs to be muted to work...
my line in and mic are both checked to mute in windows.

Well here is the issue. Mic is fine when i turn on BF2 then when it starts loading the map and all the settings the mic mutes . I have waited til the game starts and the mic is still mute. The only way I have been able to unmute it is exiting and unmuting it on my desktop.

Thought of that too. and the light blinks when it is muted. But at last it is not muted on the mic but on mydesktop..

Thought.. I have tried that whole options control panel in Bf2 to test my mic and it always acts up there.. :3

so... once your in game your mic does not work?
Because windows volume control has my Mic and my Input options muted out and i can communicate without a problem in the bf and source games.

correct.. you know how you can hear yourself breath.. when the game starts it goes to mute.. then i have to exit to unmute it through windows or my desktop.. any thoughts
