And with a 4k you very well might be right, you should be able to top 6k no problem.

OK, CPU test... Have you installed the dual core optimizer? Do you have heat readings on it?

I use pc wizard 2008. It show both cores working and both have temp readings. I though maybe the link would work, its just to my 3dmark scores. the temps range from 91 to 96 degrees F.

Now, i also just installed another gig 2x's 512MB sticks and windows doesnt see it, does this mean that the gig i installed is not being used?

EDIT: it also does not show up in the bios either. i had to bump up the Mhz to 800 for it to work correctly, would freeze up before then. Cpuz shows that i have the 3 gig, but not windows system icon. Damn, i hope this doesnt mean i have to upgrade to vista to get use of all my ram.

you have to upgrade to a 64 bit OS to use all your ram. Dont worry its not being wasted, its just not being fully utilized based on the way 32 bit os works.
